Karen Gourley is a 6/2 Projector whooo grew up in Knoxville, TN. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Karen earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Interior Design. She spent a decade in the Atlanta corporate interiors world before her direction in life completely changed course. Chronic health issues began to manifest in her body leading to years of doctors and specialists with no answers or relief. Karen finally decided to stop seeking help from a profession that only had another round of antibiotics to offer as a solution and followed her instincts instead. Her inner guidance led her to a plant-based diet. Once she transitioned to eating fully plant-based, all of her miserable chronic issues cleared up completely! After her own transformation, Karen decided to start helping others who are struggling and lost about plant-based eating and healing. She founded Let’s Get Clear, a company paving the way for plant-based to be simple and achievable for anyone. Jen Borovy is a coach, mentor, and speaker who provides training and support around the topics of Secondary Traumatic Stress, Healthy Sustainable Life Rhythms, Empathy with Boundaries, and Trauma Informed Care. Prior to launching and founding Ten10Coaching, Jen worked for eleven years at Knox County Schools, where she was a classroom teacher, and then an Instructional Behavior Coach. All 11 of those years were spent supporting, advocating, and loving the families in the most underserved communities of Knoxville. Once resigning from public education, Ten10Coaching was formed with the intention of supporting individuals who are caring for others with trauma, such as medical professionals, educators, social workers, the nonprofit sector, and first responders. In her personal life, Jen spends time with her husband of 13 years, and their three sons, ages nine, eight, and five. Jen also spends a large portion of her time serving and volunteering with organizations who partner with foster families and kids on removal day, advocating for and walking with those from marginalized spaces, reading and squeezing in any time I can exploring new places. Cindy Samaris accidentally skated her way into Hoboken, New Jersey, LITERALLY, and has lived there ever since! Cindy is a Parsons School of Design graduate with an entrepreneurial spirit. When her father passed away shortly before she turned 26 years old, Cindy felt inspired to take a leap of faith, quit her job, and pursue opportunities to be recognized for her work as a freelance textile and graphic designer. In 1996 Cindy founded, Scoop Magazine, a Hoboken newspaper funded by ads from local businesses. Known in Hoboken as a local artist, Cindy was asked to teach art at a private school in my late twenties. She loved that job. She loved working with kids. More importantly, she loved following her heart and skating into whatever the universe showed her was next! At the age of 31 Cindy was looking for a new apartment and couldn't find a realtor to help her, so she decided to get her license and help herself, and has been a realtor ever since! Today, Cindy is a Broker Associate with 20 years experience in the real estate industry.
