S2 Episode 24 - Meditation for body, mind, and soul with Mia Larsson
Born and raised in Sweden, twenty years ago Mia Larrson moved to Spain to emerse herself in a variety of yoga practices, including Hatha, Ashtanga, Anusara and Bowspring. As a holistic life coach, Mia pulls her source of inspiration from the Ayurvedic and yogic lifestyle, working with the body-mind-heart as a whole, to cultivate more understanding, balance and joy in life.
Mia’s focus is to guide and help people be in the present moment, to navigate life with more ease and balance, and offer a space of support for constructive embodied changes. Her holistic approach in her coaching is reaching out to your Whole being: mindset, body, senses, energy, breath, heart—linking together the yogic wisdom with modern neuroscience.
Rewriting her story
Mia has had her own journey through anxiety and panic attacks and has witnessed how powerful the work with body and breath is to re-wire thought patterns and destructive habits, and how the mindbody works together to create new Neuropathways that open up infinite possibility. Mia’s vision is to share and co-create this tradition to help raise individual and collective consciousness, and to live a fuller life. Mia believes Yoga practice is a process of making friends with yourself to become an awakened witness to life. Yoga is not just a tool, but it becomes a lifestyle that helps you see yourself and others from a new perspective.
